The variety is a spring form and is used for obtaining green mass for livestock feed, as well as a green manure to enrich the soil with organic matter and nitrogen. Under sufficient moisture, particularly under irrigation, the variety is capable of forming from 3 to 5 cuts, providing a yield of 50.0–70.0 t/ha.
The green mass is characterized by an increased content of protein and carbohydrates. The variety is capable of fixing up to 200 kg of nitrogen per hectare. The crop is adapted to the conditions of crop rotations in the Forest-Steppe and can be used as a replacement crop in case of failure of other perennial legume grasses.
