Nilodi is characterized by a relatively low dry matter yield during the winter period when tested under Sardinian conditions. At the same time, it possesses the ability to maintain stability in seed productivity when transitioning from the second year of use, demonstrating less than a 30% reduction in seed yield.

The plant is used for green mass and hay production. Precise data on morphological indicators, such as plant height, lodging resistance, or specific disease resistance, are absent in open scientific publications.
