Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was developed through selection for early maturity from the 'Dixie' variety population. The plant is characterized by an upright growth habit, which facilitates operations during strip-tillage, and it flowers approximately two weeks earlier than the parent variety.

Used as a cover crop in crop rotations with corn and cotton, as well as a green manure. The variety is capable of nitrogen fixation and producing significant biomass. It possesses the ability to reseed, the success of which depends on agrotechnical practices.

Resistance to diseases and pests is comparable to that of standard varieties. Under field conditions, significant damage from nematodes to crops of this variety is generally not observed.
