The variety is intended for creating herbaceous communities and is often included in mixtures possessing the ability for self-seeding. The plant is suitable for use as forage for pastures during the winter-spring period with early sowing dates, as well as for hay harvesting and as green manure.
The plant is adapted to soils with a pH acidity level from 5.5 to 7.5. The frost resistance of the crop reaches -20°C. In a number of cases, the variety name is associated with local germplasm material or regional ecotypes of legumes used in forage production.
