The variety is officially classified in the Hungarian state registers as crimson clover (Trifolium incarnatum L.), however, in some documents, an erroneous or parallel mention of the variety is found in the context of red clover (Trifolium pratense L.).
Used as a forage crop. In DUS test methodologies, the variety is defined as a reference for assessing the trait of plant height three weeks after the start of spring vegetation.
