The Trincat variety is an annual forage crop. The plant is characterized by a taproot system, trifoliate leaves on long petioles, and inflorescences in the form of elongated heads of a deep red color. The typical height of plants of this variety is 20–60 cm.
In agronomic studies, the variety demonstrates high hay yield indicators. The nutritional value of the clover was studied in mixtures with Italian ryegrass, where parameters of organic matter digestibility and crude protein content were evaluated.
