The variety is diploid (2n=14) and belongs to the mid-late maturity group. It is intended for use as a forage crop for establishing hayfields and pastures.

The plant possesses resistance to a number of fungal diseases, in particular to Sclerotinia trifoliorum. The variety is characterized by stable yields of green and dry mass, as well as high forage quality indicators, including crude fiber content.
