Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained through selection from polyploidized diploid ancestors Jõgeva 205 and Jõgeva 433. The plants are of the tetraploid type and are characterized as medium-tall during the regrowth period after mowing.

Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by a longer corolla tube and an increased corolla opening compared to the diploid analogue. The variety shows high resistance to Sclerotinia trifoliorum infection and demonstrates good seed productivity potential.

During scientific research, biochemical quality indicators of the produce were studied, including crude protein content, digestibility, and isoflavone levels.
