The variety is a local cultivar selected in the northwestern part of Spain. It is included in the European common catalogue of varieties, however, large-scale commercialization of the variety has not been carried out, and the main work with it was of an experimental nature.

The variety was considered as a forage crop for the production of green mass, hay, or silage under local edaphoclimatic conditions. Specific agronomic characteristics, such as yield indicators, morphometry, or disease resistance, are absent in open publications.
