The variety belongs to late-maturing or late-flowering types, which are distinguished by a later start of spring growth and good regrowth capacity after cutting. Morphologically, it is characterized by an average length of leaves located below the terminal one.

This clover is used as a forage crop. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a reference sample when studying forage value, chemical composition, in particular nitrogen content, as well as when testing resistance to pests, such as the sitona weevil.
