The variety is diploid (2n) and is characterized by low persistence, maintaining suitability for use until the second production year. The variety was bred on the basis of other Czech varieties, such as Start, Chlumecký, Tábor and Vltavín.
The main goal of developing the variety was to achieve a high yield of seeds and green mass with a satisfactory level of disease resistance.
