The variety is diploid and is primarily used as a fodder crop. It is used in grass mixtures and for the production of silage, haylage, and green fodder due to its high nutritional value.

The variety demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Sclerotinia. The plant is characterized by high levels of flavonoids and isoflavones, which makes it of interest to the pharmaceutical industry and dietary supplement production.
