The Radegast variety is a tetraploid form (4n) of red clover. During comparative trials, the variety demonstrated varying degrees of resistance, ranging from medium to high, and also showed efficiency in dry matter production when overseeded into a grass stand.
In scientific literature, the variety is used as a sample for conducting molecular genetic studies, including analysis of variability using SSR markers. Information on detailed agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or plant height, is limited in open sources.
