The variety is used as a high-quality forage component in pure stands or as part of hay and pasture mixtures. In agronomic trials, the variety was often used as a control reference sample for evaluating the productivity of other species.

The plant is classified as perennial, however, it is categorized in reports as short-lived. The yield indicators of the variety demonstrate a dependence on growing conditions, which necessitates adaptive testing in various regions.
