The variety was developed using the polycross method based on five elite breeding lines for use in conditions of high grazing density, irrigation, and nitrogen fertilizer application. The plant is characterized by a high growth habit and vigorous development, which ensures better competitiveness in stands with perennial ryegrass and tall fescue.
The variety is high-yielding, with dry matter productivity indicators tending to increase in the second and third years of life. It possesses grazing longevity, improved adaptation to abiotic stresses, and increased resistance to weevil infestation. The produce is distinguished by high quality and an increased content of non-structural carbohydrates.
The purpose of the variety is for use in pasture grass mixtures under intensive livestock systems and rotational grazing. Due to nitrogen fixation, the variety contributes to increased soil fertility and a reduction in the need for additional nitrogen fertilizers.
