The variety is characterized by rapid regrowth in the spring, which ensures competitiveness in grass mixtures with cereal crops. The plant is low-growing, with erect shoots, reaching a height of about 10 cm.

Klondike possesses high resistance to Sclerotinia and good adaptability to various climatic conditions. Due to its creeping stems, the variety is resistant to frequent mowing and intensive trampling.

The produce is distinguished by a high protein content. The variety is used in forage grass mixtures, in lawn landscaping, and as a green manure crop to improve soil structure and accumulate nitrogen.
