The variety belongs to the group of large-leaved forms with long petioles. It is characterized as an intensive seed producer with a relatively narrow flowering period.

Under pasture conditions, the variety demonstrates yields inferior to more modern analogues, however, under a mowing regime, it shows higher productivity indicators. In scientific research, the variety was used for the analysis of physiological plant responses to drought.
