The variety is intended for use as a pasture and forage crop. In agronomic studies, it has often been used as a typical representative for creating mixed stands and evaluating genetic progress in breeding.

An important biological characteristic of the variety is high resistance to infection by clover rot (Sclerotinia trifoliorum). Resistance to stem nematodes (Ditylenchus dipsaci) has also been recorded, which was reflected in the labeling of breeding forms of the variety, such as Pajbjerg Milka II K.
