The variety belongs to the f. hollandicum form and was obtained through the selection of a local ecotype of clover that grew in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The plants possess the ability for rapid regrowth after mowing.

Depending on the classification, the variety is referred to as cyanogenic or low-cyanogenic forms. It possesses pronounced drought tolerance and is intended for use in forage production for the establishment of pastures.
