Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety has a semi-erect or erect bushy growth habit, reaching a height of 80–150 cm. Stems are hollow, thin-walled, and strongly branching; flowers are pink-violet. The variety is soft-seeded, which eliminates hard-seededness.

The plant is distinguished by high nutritional value with a crude protein content of 16–24%. The variety is resistant to leaf and stem rust, clover scorch, and Phytophthora root rot. The crop is adapted to clay and loamy soils and tolerates waterlogging and moderate salinity well.

The variety is intended for grazing, hay, and silage production, and is also suitable for mixed cropping with ryegrass or oats. It is recommended for use in crop rotation to enrich the soil with nitrogen and control diseases of other crops.
