The variety belongs to the majus subspecies. The period from sowing to flowering is 155–165 days. It is characterized by the formation of relatively coarse stems and large leaves.
The plant is highly susceptible to leaf rust. The variety is intended for the production of silage, hay, or grazing and is well-suited for cultivation under irrigation.
