The variety belongs to the species Trifolium resupinatum L., subspecies var. majus, and is characterized by the presence of thick hollow stems and large leaflets. Flowering occurs approximately 10 days earlier than in the Maral variety. Seeds are characterized by softness, with a hard seed content of about 2%.
The crop possesses high nutritional value, including crude protein content and digestibility indices, and provides higher seed yields compared to the Maral variety. Due to its soft-seeded nature, the variety has a low capacity for self-regeneration under pasture conditions, therefore it is often used in mixtures with annual grasses.
