The variety is an annual plant with thick, long, and soft hollow stems reaching a height of 750 mm. It belongs to the late-maturing group, reaching the flowering stage in a period from 156 to 173 days, and therefore requires regions with a long growing season.
The fodder is characterized by high nutritional value with a crude protein content of 20–23%, excellent palatability, and digestibility. The variety carries no estrogen-related risks and is capable of regrowth after grazing or mowing.
