The winter triticale variety «Binova» is characterized by short stems, thanks to which it is used in breeding work to increase resistance to lodging. The plant is considered as a grain crop, as well as a potential component for feed purposes and bioethanol production.
Within the framework of scientific research, the variety was studied for indicators of crude protein content and amino acid composition of grain, especially under organic farming conditions. The variety also serves as an object of breeding research aimed at assessing resistance to Fusarium head blight and plant height stability.
