The variety has a height of 80–90 cm and a vegetation period of 278–290 days. The ear is awnless, white, spindle-shaped, dense, 9–12 cm long, with awn-like appendages up to 3.5 cm. The grain is red, oval-elongated in shape, and the thousand kernel weight is 42–48 g.

The variety possesses high drought tolerance and winter hardiness. It is resistant to smut, powdery mildew, and rust, and shows relative resistance to septoria, fusarium, root rots, and viral diseases.

The protein content in the grain is 12–15%, gluten content is 24–26%, and the flour strength is in the range of 220–280 o.a.
