The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Frelon and Isengrain. The plant is short-stemmed, the ear is bearded. In terms of heading, the variety is early-maturing, 2 days earlier than the Apache variety, and belongs to the type intermediate between winter and alternative varieties.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and moderate winter hardiness. It shows resistance to yellow and brown rust, is weakly susceptible to septoria and fusarium, however, it is susceptible to powdery mildew and stem breakage.
The grain has a high specific weight, increased protein content, and high bread-making properties. The variety is intended for bread-making, confectionery production, and the manufacture of groundbait.
