The wheat variety Burhunka belongs to the intensive type of varieties and is intended for cultivation in the southern regions of Ukraine, including on irrigated lands. Under trial conditions, the variety demonstrates high productivity potential, reaching yield figures of up to 8.46 t/ha.
The plant responds well to the application of growth regulators, which has a positive effect on the increase in thousand kernel weight and the number of productive stems. As an intensive type variety, Burhunka is sensitive to the deterioration of cultivation conditions, under which a significant decrease in yield may be observed.
