The variety is intended for the cultivation of food grain and demonstrates high productivity; in particular, in the conditions of the Forest-Steppe, the yield reaches 7.2 t/ha. The baking qualities of the grain are rated in the range of 4.4–4.8 points; the variety is also used as a donor of valuable characteristics in breeding work.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging, grain shedding, and drought (8–9 points for both characteristics). Resistance to foliar diseases is rated at an average level. The genotype of the variety is characterized by the absence of wheat-rye translocations and also displays a certain level of winter hardiness.
