The variety belongs to the erythrospermum botanical variety. The spike is white or straw-yellow, pyramidal in shape, dense, of medium length, with a moderate waxy bloom and long awns. The caryopsis is red, large, long, and wide.
The plant possesses high ecological plasticity, winter hardiness, and resistance to shedding and sprouting in the ear during over-ripening. It has a medium level of resistance to leaf rust, stem rust, powdery mildew, and common bunt.
The protein content in the grain is 12.3–14.1%, gluten — 28.5–30.0%. Flour strength indicators reach 330–350 a.u., sedimentation — 68 ml, test weight — 828 g/l, thousand kernel weight — 43–45 g.
The variety is suitable for cultivation under irrigation, responsive to the application of increased doses of mineral fertilizers, and intended for intensive cultivation technologies.
