The variety is intended for cultivation in the conditions of the Austrian climate and belongs to the quality group "A". It is characterized by good grain quality indicators, in particular a high thousand kernel weight, and a hexaploid structure type.
The plant possesses resistance to a number of diseases, which allows it to be used in organic farming systems. The variety is often mentioned in historical reports and breeding materials as a classic product of the Saatzucht Edelhof program.
