The variety has a semi-erect or intermediate growth habit at the 5–9 tiller stage. The flag leaf is characterized by weak intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the auricles and an absence of recurved leaves. The culm is hollow with a very thin pith, anthocyanin coloration is absent, and a strong waxy bloom is expressed on the neck.
The ear at maturity has a tendency to incline, with density ranging from lax to medium. The grain is oval in shape with angular cheeks. The variety is intended for food use and possesses baking qualities typical for its market group.
