The variety was bred by the Gabonakutató institute in Hungary. In scientific literature, it became known as a standard winter variety, actively used as a control sample in experiments studying the effects of fertilizers, herbicides, and rust resistance.
The grain of the variety possesses satisfactory baking qualities; the use of the produce for feed purposes is also permitted. Given that the variety is a product of previous years' breeding, systematized data on its morphological indicators in open sources are limited.
