The variety GTW Karina is a breeding development by Bulgarian specialists aimed at increasing the productivity of winter soft wheat. During state variety trials, the high yield of this variety was confirmed in comparison to standard samples.

At present, detailed morphological characteristics, grain quality indicators, data on resistance to diseases and lodging, as well as the pedigree of the variety are absent in open publications.
