The variety belongs to the lutescens botanical variety. It is an important genetic resource, included in the pedigree of more than half of the studied European wheat varieties. In Germany, the variety was officially cultivated from 1959 to 1961.
During the selection of the variety, attention was paid to winter hardiness, drought tolerance, stem strength, and the phytosanitary status of the plants. Quantitative yield indicators, specific morphometric plant data, and grain quality characteristics are not presented in open sources.
