The variety belongs to the winter soft wheat group. Physiological studies have revealed that plants of this variety are capable of accumulating an increased level of abscisic acid in the leaves under moisture deficit conditions, which indicates specific mechanisms of adaptation to arid conditions.

The variety underwent testing for resistance to a number of agricultural diseases, including leaf spot. The product is intended for food use.
