The plant possesses resistance to the orange wheat blossom midge and the gene for resistance to eyespot. High tolerance of the variety to soils with low manganese content was noted. Grain quality is characterized as high-feed, and the variety is also used as a model object in soil microbiological studies.
The variety demonstrates resistance to septoria, powdery mildew, and rust, although individual reports from 2021 indicated potential susceptibility to yellow rust.
