The variety was obtained by crossing the lines Hja all05 and Hja alO99. The plant is adapted for cultivation in northern regions where the ability to mature within a short growing season is critical.
The variety is classified as bread wheat. Quality indicators include a protein content of 13.2% and a falling number of 376 seconds. Responsiveness to nitrogen fertilizers, which contribute to increasing protein content, is noted, as well as the positive influence of a growth regulator on yield at low seeding rates.
The genetic profile of the variety has been identified as containing the leaf rust resistance gene Lr10, which may be present either individually or in combination with other unidentified genes.
