The variety is a spring wheat, the genetic basis of which was obtained by crossing the lines Klein Rendidor, Sonora, Inia, Ciano, and Yecora. The plant is characterized by low growth and mid-early maturity.
The variety possesses good lodging resistance. During testing periods, it showed moderate resistance to leaf and stem rust, however, susceptibility to Fusarium head blight was recorded in later reports.
The produce of the variety is characterized by high milling and baking indicators; in particular, it was noted as a variety well-suited for the production of Asian noodles.
