The ear is white, lax, parallel-shaped, with long awns in the upper half. There is a weak waxy bloom on the neck of the stem; the flag leaf is often curved. The coloration of the first leaf (coleoptile) is strong.
The plant is a long-stemmed type. The variety is classified as medium-late in terms of heading time. The variety is intended for bread-making use; potential applications for silage production have also been studied.
