The variety was bred at the Mironivka Wheat Breeding and Seed Production Research Institute. It belongs to intensive-type varieties that contributed to a significant increase in yield in the 1970s.
The variety possesses resistance to black bacteriosis, with yield losses not exceeding 5%. Regarding basal bacteriosis, it is classified as moderately susceptible with yield losses at the level of 10–20%. Grain quality corresponds to the institute’s breeding goals for increasing yield and technological parameters.
This variety was used in scientific research dedicated to issues of optimizing nitrogen nutrition for winter wheat.
