The soft wheat variety Nagradowicka was bred by the Polish breeding company Poznańska Hodowla Roślin, specifically by specialists at the breeding station in the Laski department. Its pedigree includes the Peragis and Garant varieties.
In scientific publications of the 1960s, the variety was examined in the context of research on the chemical composition of grain, in particular protein content and amino acid profile. Detailed modern agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or lodging resistance, are not presented in the publications.
