The variety is mid-tall, reaching a height of 95–100 cm. The plants form a strong stem with a developed tillering node; leaves are green with a waxy bloom. The ear is awned, dense, and of medium length. The grain is red, large, and uniform; the thousand kernel weight is 45–48 g.
The plant is resistant to lodging, shattering, powdery mildew, brown rust, and Fusarium head blight. Grain quality is characterized by a protein content of 12.5–13.2%, gluten content of 23–26%, and a test weight of 760–780 g/l. The variety is adapted for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones and tillers well under late sowing dates.
