The variety is the result of a breeding program by Selgen, a.s. The pedigree of the variety includes the combination Hubertus / U153-a (Vlada / VS-74-709). The plant has a height of 90–95 cm and contains the Rht1 short-straw gene, which provides resistance to lodging.
The ear of the variety is white in color, conical in shape, and of medium density, characterized by the presence of short awns. The thousand kernel weight varies from 50 to 55 g. The variety is used in scientific research as an object for studying resistance to Fusarium head blight and barley yellow dwarf virus.
