SW Kaliber is a variety of spring soft wheat. Within the framework of state variety trials in Estonia in the early 2000s, a thousand kernel weight in the range of 26.0–31.9 g was recorded for this variety.
The variety underwent genetic studies for the presence of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunit alleles at the Glu-A1 and Glu-D1 loci. It was established that the variety exhibits polymorphism at the Glu-D1 locus, which influences the baking properties of the dough.
