The variety is a winter form of common wheat (Triticum aestivum). In agricultural and biological research, it is frequently used as a model organism for studying protein structure, technological grain properties, as well as physiological processes, including the impact of environmental conditions on productivity.
The plant possesses high field resistance to leaf rust (Puccinia tritici) and partial resistance to Phaeosphaeria nodorum. The grain quality of the variety has been studied in detail within the framework of long-term field experiments, including the analysis of glutenin composition and endosperm cell walls.
