It possesses high winter hardiness and good lodging resistance; however, the use of growth regulators is recommended under intensive cultivation. The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew, rust, stem base diseases, and leaf spot.
The plant has a pronounced tillering capacity and is adapted for cultivation on acidic soils. The variety belongs to baking quality group B (close to A); the grain is characterized by high protein content, gluten content, and a high falling number. Good resistance of the grain to sprouting in the ear is noted.
The variety is intended for the production of food-grade grain and demonstrates stable yields. Under conditions of extreme drought and high temperatures, a decrease in productivity is possible due to the peculiarities of leaf apparatus development and the reduction of lateral shoots.
