Variety description

The variety belongs to the leucurum botanical variety. The plant is medium-tall; the spike is white or straw-yellow, awned. Pubescence of the lower glume is absent; the caryopsis is white.

The variety possesses winter hardiness at a level of 7–8 points and resistance to grain shattering. It exhibits complex disease resistance: to Septoria and smut — 8–9 points, to rust and powdery mildew — 6–7 points.

The thousand kernel weight is 41.7–45.2 g; grain test weight is 789–832 g/l. Protein content is in the range of 16.1–17.0%, gluten content is 27.2–29.4%.

Recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones. To achieve maximum productivity, the use of intensive cultivation technology is required.
