The plant reaches an average height of 75–85 cm and possesses average tillering. The ear is characterized as very large, of irregular shape, with dark (black) awns. The genetic pedigree of the variety includes a combination of Chen and Altar 84.

The variety is distinguished by high productivity and stability under Mediterranean climate conditions, demonstrating good adaptability to poor soils and successful development during the winter period. It possesses average resistance to lodging and medium-high resistance to powdery mildew, rust, and Septoria.

The grain possesses high quality indicators, including excellent color, good vitreousness, and high protein content (IGC index 106).
