The variety was obtained by crossing lines M 6800127 × Valsesa. In breeding work, it served as the basis for the creation of the Giemme variety.

The variety possesses good productivity and is recommended for cultivation in the conditions of central-northern Italy. It is characterized as one of the varieties reflecting the evolution of morphophysiological characteristics of durum wheat, however, exact quantitative indicators of plant height or disease resistance are not publicly available.
