The variety was bred at the NARDI Fundulea research institute. It belongs to winter or spring forms depending on the cultivation region; in particular, under the conditions of the Republic of Belarus, it is classified as spring.

It is characterized by high resistance to lodging and a thousand kernel weight of about 48.5 g. The grain contains protein and gluten; the variety is suitable for the production of pasta and is used in breeding programs as a genetic resource.
